All We Can Do Is Dance
Ocher colored the earth, Flora white, bare feet in connection with the floor. Dancing in this lunar scenery, where she seemed to belong like a resident. It was Flora’s idea to shoot in this landscape. After a long walk to get there and more than one unsuccessful tries we succeed to shoot this sequence just before the nightfall.

After her start with Véronique Asencio, she discovered the contemporary dance with Géraldine Jault in the National School of Music and Dance of Châtellerault.
She followed the training in the CNSMD in Lyon. During her course, she performed in shows of Odile Duboc, Merce Cunningham, Philippe Decouflé, François Verret… She joined the creations of Gaetano Battezza- to and David Drouard. Her career was marked by important meetings: Jackie Taffanel, Dominique Mercy, Hervè Koubi et Guillaume Gabriel.
In 2009 Flora started the capoeira angola with the group of Barba Blanca. Today, she continues to open her artistic tools by working with the company Behram, mixing dance, circus and fire. In July 2011, she danced for the opening of the 14th Games of the Pacific in Nouméa (New Caledonia) and worked with Julie Restikelly for “La bake des dames”, performed in the Cultural Centre of Tjibaou, Nouméa. In July 2012, with the same show, she took part in the Festival in Avignon in the program me of “La Chapelle du Verbe Incarné”.
2011 she enters the Collectif Quai n°4, gathering of dancers, musicians, video artists and photographers.
In september 2012, she joined the Biennale of Dance OFF in the “Croiseur” in Lyon. There she performed the first creation of the Collectif Quai n°4, Slave of Time.
In the same time, she teaches in creation workshops of the CIAS in Villefranche-sur-saône and in the Conservatory of Roussillon.
